Dan Kangley M.Ed
Experience. Expertise. A commitment to every learner.
For more than 15 years, I have dedicated my career to supporting students with reading and learning challenges—helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and experience meaningful academic success.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education and am a licensed special education teacher and administrator, with extensive experience working with students across a range of learning needs.
I have advanced training in structured literacy and provide instruction that is aligned with the Science of Reading and informed by Orton-Gillingham principles.
In addition to intervention, I am qualified and experienced in administering and interpreting standardized academic assessments used in independent educational evaluations to identify your child’s specific learning needs and guide personalized instruction. Psychological testing is not included.
Every session provided is thoughtfully designed to meet the individual student where they are—closing skill gaps, strengthening foundational reading abilities, and building lasting confidence.
Relationship Focused
I build strong relationships with students, parents, and schools. Trust creates a safe environment where learning accelerates and students thrive.
Early Intervention, Lifelong Impact
Early, effective support helps students become confident readers and lifelong learners.
“My goal is simple: to provide clarity, direction, and instruction that changes the way students learn - and believe in themselves”
-Dan Kangley
